1) The HB 6522 Weapon, commentary by Modesto P. Sa-Onoy Raises Many Concerns. 2) Why is DOH Still Pushing Restrictions in the Face of No Supporting Legislation? The State of Calamity is Expired!
No Government or bureaucracy ever gives up power willingly. This is amply demonstrated in Philippines with both the proposed HB 6522, and DOH's continued clinging to power tactics.
From Filipino Historian, Journalist, and former Davao Press Club President Modesto P. Sa-Onoy is a commentary about the HB 6522 that is well worth reading. I cannot link the paper, because I cannot find an electronic link.
Sa-Onoy raises serious concerns about HB 6522, which has now been sent to the senate for approval. Not least among the points raised are: -
That the list of congressmen who approved this bill has now been removed from public access (why? They can’t justify their approval? Don’t want to be targeted for question by the public who are not ok with this Bill?),
This bill is labelled CDC bill, framed as if a copycat to the US CDC, instead of PHCDC. Concerns are raised with the demonstrated recent failing of the US CDC and their pivotal role in creating and maintaining the current COVID-19 mess.
The hands of the globalists are clear in the carefully crafted clauses of the bill, as it ties the Philippines into control by the WHO and the IHRs.
There were no public discussions or hearings on this critical bill.
This bill was approved unanimously in record time. The current congress came into office in July 2022. The Bill was submitted to the House on 6th December and approved by Voice Vote.
The bill weaponizes the government against its own people.
The House of Representatives has either become a stamping pad of powers that are beyond their head or its members have lost their moral anchors….
This is clearly a railroaded bill, passed without debate like laws in totalitarian states or a kangaroo legislatures….
The government has now created a legal weapon against its own people and we must oppose HB 6522 before it could be used.
The State of Calamity Has Expired, But the DOH Doesn’t Believe it!
A state of public health emergency was first declared in March 2020 by then President Rodrigo Duterte. This was then followed by a declared State of Calamity in the Philippines has been extended 4 times and was in effect for 18 months from 16 March 2020 up to 31 December 2022. Initially under Proclamation No. 929, the State of Calamity was first imposed for 6 months from 16 March 2020 to 12 September 2020. It was then extended from 13 September 2020 to 12 September 2021 under Proclamation No. 1021, and then to 12 September 2022 under Proclamation No. 1218. Finally, it was extended up to 31 December 2022 under Proclamation No. 57.
Now, therefore, I Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Philippines, by the virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and existing laws, do hereby further extend the declared State of Calamity throughout the Philippines effective 13 September 2022 to 31 December 2022, unless earlier lifted or extended as circumstances may warrant.
The state of calamity was not extended. If there is no state of calamity then there should not be any restrictions still in place. Shouldn’t everything have gone back to normal? It certainly hasn’t. Proof of recent negative Covid-19 testing is still being required to access certain places and facilities. Vaccine cards are still being required by some businesses (hotels and restaurants, in particular). Schools are still chasing Covid-19 vaccine status of students. Incoming visitors to the country must still present negative Covid-19 test results.
DOH is still wielding controls over restrictions. Why do we have restrictions when there is no longer any State of Calamity in place?
I found the reason! DOH won’t consider that the State of Calamity is REALLY over until the President categorically states that it will not be extended.
Ms. Vergeire had better accept that her department’s powers are set to be truncated! Covid-19 is OVER in the PHILIPPINES.
She is still hopeful it might be extended, stating that if it is not extended the emergency use of dugs and vaccines will no longer be valid. What doesn’t she understand?
THE STATE OF CALAMITY HAS NOT BEEN EXTENDED! THE CONTINUED PUSH OF VACCINES IS NOT LONGER VALID, OR LEGAL! THE EUA LIABILITY INDEMNITIES HAVE LAPSED!
She still intends to impose restrictions (under what legal, constitutional basis?) even if the WHO lifts the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic as a public health emergency of international concern when it meets today.
Covid-19 is still hitting the news, from time to time. Mostly repeated stories of decreasing cases and decreasing deaths.
Currently 1.5 cases per million population. 12 deaths per 100 million population.
Nothing to see! Move on please! We have far more important matters to be concerned with. Such as massive overreach of Government Power, Vaccine Injuries and Deaths, Inflation, Poverty, Education, the Price of eggs and onions! Plane crashes!
A Plane crash that killed two on 25th January after their plane was seen to have spiraled out of control and crashed in a rice field, and a missing plane with 6 on board on 24th January.
That is another story for concern! Why so many “accidents”? Aviation safety and pilot and flight crew health, local and international concerns, will be discussed at the weekly www.CDCPH.org huddle at 7pm Manila Time on Saturday night 28th January 2023. Lunatics running the asylum that close to all world governments have been proven to be with the whole scamdemic evil.
I read somewhere about EcoHealth Alliance getting funding to do a zoonitic spillover research in the Phillipines. I was going to send you the link, but can't find it now...
