CNN Philippines Going Off Air Due to Massive Losses. Sky Cable Ceases Cable TV Service! Bagong Pilipinas - A New Philippines? A NWO Compliant Philippines Development Plan. Charter Change - No or Go?
Marcos and Duterte Camps mudslinging over charter change, ICC investigations on drug deaths, and foreign policy. Where does that leave VP Duterte? Sudden deaths Philippines.
General news updates from the Philippines today.
CNN Philippines has Gone Off Air
Facing massive financial losses of more than PHP5B, CNN Philippines will cease broadcasting effective 31 January 2024.
SKY Cable Shuts Down
Sky Cable, which had provided cable television services, has also ended delivery of cable television services.
I am a Sky Cable subscriber, and received an email from the Sky last 27th January 2024, advising that the services would be terminated effective 27 February, subscription balance refunded, and no need to return the digibox.
New Philippines
The "Bagong Pilipinas" branding of Marcos's governance released in July 2023. Bagong Pilipinas (transl. New Philippines) is the campaign rally of the presidency and administration of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., which focuses on an all-inclusive plan for economic and social transformation.
Bagong Pilipinas ties in with the 2023 - 2028 Philippines Development Plan, which sets out an ambitious plan for the next 5-years. The key words: Whole of Government, Whole of Society, Sustainable development, Low Carbon Transition, Corporate Social Responsibility, Public-Private-Partnerships, Inclusive, Digital Economy, etc. set the direction of what this plan is about. While many of the goals are excellent and will greatly improve the lot of the Philippines and Filipinos, these key words also reveal that these goals are actively pushing Philippines towards a corpocracy and the one world globalist agenda. As an example, is it really relevant to implement carbon neutral approaches, when water supply and sewage treatment, basic agriculture, cold-chain and food handling infrastructure, reliable digital services, even reliable power supplies are still lacking and being developed? WHO are those referred “development partners”?
Charter Change - No or Go
Groups in the Philippines are pushing for charter change - amendment of the Philippines Constitution.
There are three ways to introduce constitutional amendments: upon the vote of three-fourths of all members of Congress; via constitutional convention, whose members are elected; and through direct proposals in a petition of at least 12 percent of registered voters.
Certainly, economic change is needed, and there is a critical need to reduce the complexities and bureaucracy that complicates business activities, but does this need to come through changing the constitution? Will changing the constitution create even more instability? Will the changes be limited to economic provisions, or will other changes diluting the protections of the constitution be slipped in?
Marcos Team vs Duterte Team
Differences over charter change, ongoing ICC investigations on the widespread killings that took place under Duterte during anti-drug crackdowns, and foreign policy are resulting in mudslinging, name calling, and slurring all round.
Duterte’s daughter being the Vice President to Marcos, makes the rift between the camps far more than political maneuvering, threatening the smooth operation and stability of the government.
No rift between Sara Duterte and Marcos? Clearly there is a widening rift between their camps that may not be able to be closed.
COVID-19 NEWS
The department of health has taken down their covid-19 case and death tracker.
Maybe there is no need to report covid-19 because there are relatively few cases serious enough for people to bother getting tested, and even fewer deaths. Considering that on average nearly 2,000 people die each day in Philippines (based on 2022 data Jan-June), how are 0 to a few deaths attributed to Covid-19 relevant?
DOH have also taken down their Covid-19 Vaccination tracker, which had not been updated since mid-March 2023; total numbers did not reflect final booster doses which were still administered up to 3rd quarter of 2023.
I had tracked the reported cumulative doses administered and daily dose rates. Interest in taking this product is well and truly gone!
While primary series dosing was high, there was very little demand for booster doses.
Does this mean that covid-19 is over? The infection has become endemic and it is impossible, and therefore futile to try to eliminate it. Instead, immune support and general good health are the best protection. However, the consequences of Covid-19 infections and the Covid-19 injections are very far from over. They are still being explored in relation to the worldwide trending of sustained and now accelerating excess deaths and falling births, the failing health of many, and the deaths of so many people before their time.
MSM and most governments are yet to comment openly about the IATROGENOCIDE in process! Sudden and unexpected deaths are still regularly making the news in the Philippines. What more the deaths (and illness and disability) of regular folk?
Sudden deaths in January 2024
53-Year-old former vice mayor from a city in Lanao Del Sur, Jeremy Guiab, died from a heart attack on 28 January 2024.
20 year old Antoinette Pagaduan, beauty queen, student. Dead from a reported heart attack. It is only since 2021 that young people have died of heart attacks! What a senseless waste of what should have been a wonderful life! When will this be called for the iatrogenic murder that it was?
What an intensely interesting potpourri you present to us this morning. Taking the last first, a friend of mine, a healthy 42 year old engineer just dropped dead from a heart attack, and his family are obviously devastated. Fully vaxed and boosted. Need I say more?
The rift between the current and former Presidents is amusing theatre but pointlessly damaging to all concerned imo.
Given the vast numbers of left-leaning globalist NGOs within the Philippines territories why is anyone shocked that the establishment is firmly committed to the Davos scheme to "Build back better". I take some comfort that, especially here in PH, saying something is way easier than actually accomplishing it 😂
Finally, I was heartened to hear of the demise of CNN here on Channel 9. Interestingly, the vast majority on Facebook were sympathetic and in some form of mourning for a great loss, whereas the comments section on Microsoft News was filled with people like myself in celebratory mood. Keep it up SS
Delighted to see the "Covid 19 Tracker" shut down. Apparently it has exhausted its power to terrify people. Perhaps they will be replacing it with a "mRNA injection deaths" tracker?
