80 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines worth around P40 billion are in stock and due to expire; they must not go to waste!

Presidential Entrepreneurial Advisor Joey Concepcion has taken a key role in redefining “fully vaccinated”, which is being proposed to require booster(s) dosing. While about 60% of the population have received primary series, only about 11.24% have accepted a booster dose. If “freedoms” are limited as a result of not being “up-to-date”, then perhaps the reluctant population may be convinced.

Mr. Concepcion has also been instrumental in the push to change the Philippines Covid-19 Alert Level Lockdown System from being tied to infection rates, to instead being tied directly to vaccine uptake. Daily cases here have been consistently low and are still dropping, a mere few hundred a day in a population of 110 million, for weeks already. Despite this the news and social media are full of dire warnings of a coming massive spike (and new lockdowns) to be expected by mid-May, straight after the elections!

It appears that Mr. Concepcion’s entrepreneurial role now includes advising and appealing to both IATF and DOH on their covid-19 measures and driving vaccination policy, as well explained in today’s Manila Times article. Was this a formal appointment?

Today’s The Philippine Star also contains a full page add with the following statement credited to Mr. Concepcion.

NEGOSYO BOOSTER to the MAX.

“The Freedoms we enjoy today are because of vaccinations. Greater mobility brought our lives back to normal and is helping the economy. More people are going back to work, more business are returning. We protect the gains and the freedoms we now enjoy when we VAX TO THE MAX and BOOSTER TO THE MAX. If not enough Filipinos get vaccinated and boostered we will risk another surge. We will have wasted billions of pesos in unused vaccines. Think about the safety of your family and welfare of the country. GET VACCINATED AND BOOSTERED NOW!”

The vaccines must be consumed! They must not be wasted because their cost will be borne by coming generations!

What if their cost is at not just the financial expense of the people, but also at the cost of their health, or even their lives? Must people be forced to take a product that might possibly have a negative effect?

There is still NO whisper of official explanation for why we have such a high excess deaths; deaths that somehow seem correlated with the vaccine rollouts, not just in the Philippines, but worldwide.

Here are our 2021 Covid-19 attributed deaths plotted by date of death. We still have no discussion or answers on why our covid-19 cases and deaths started soaring immediately concurrent with the rollout that started on 1st of March 2021. Coincidence?

Here are our excess deaths showing all-cause mortality, in still preliminary data as of 28 February 2022. They cannot all be explained as due to C19 infection, even if one accepted that all C19 deaths were excess, and none were within the expected deaths due to severe longstanding comorbidities.

Philippines FDA, DOH, IATF, please provide your rational explanation. If we are to willingly accept these covid-19 vaccine products in multiple repeated doses, even if solely with the purpose of not allowing them to go to waste, we need to know they truly are safe and effective.
