Marcos Jr. and Vergeire Met UN's Tedros Last Week. Marcos Jr. Committed to Delaying Lifting the State of Calamity Even While Emphasizing the Need to Balance Health and Economy!
Tedros pushing Pandemic Treaty, and extension of State of Calamity. Vaccine Product Demand Tanking despite DOH best efforts. Coercion in Davao Del Norte.
President Marcos Jr. and DOH OIC Vergeire met Globalists Tedros and Blair in separate meetings in Malacañang palace last Tuesday 25th October 2022! Tedros was in Manila to participate in the 73rd World Health Organization Western Pacific Regional Committee Meeting (WPRCM) that was held in Manila from 24 to 28 October 2022.
WHO is asking Philippines to support their Pandemic Treaty. This raises serious concerns on giving up of national sovereignty in times of health crises. Given the experience over the past 2 1/2 years, the wisdom of supporting such a treaty should be very carefully and critically considered.
Note that this is the same pandemic treaty that the WHO wanted voted on last May 22-28, 2022 but which was subsequently post-phoned due to mass public opposition. Opinion here from The Noakes Foundation. Another May 2022 discussion raising concerns here from Bill Muehlenberg.
[I had a very hard time finding any articles from last May on this topic not from a government source and not singing resounding praises of the proposed treaty].
Tedros also urged Marcos not to lift the country’s still in place state of calamity! Marcos was reported to have previously been considering lifting the state of national calamity, but now to be open to this new advice. The state of calamity has been in place in the Philippines since March of 2020, was extended twice, and will stay in effect up to 31 December 2022!
It seems that Tedros is the unelected ruler of the Philippines, giving instructions to the Philippines Government on how to conduct their health affairs! If the Pandemic Treaty passes, he will be ceded a great deal more influence than he already has.
Vaccine Hesitancy in Philippines
Despite government funding and best efforts, demand has tanked! Average daily dosing from 21 to 27th October 2022 was down to 37,173 doses (1st Dose - 6,968, 2nd Dose - 10,827, Booster - 19,379).
Regardless, Davao del Norte are pushing the products on their senior citizens, paying them PHP2,000 (USD34.50) monetary awards to take Covid-19 jabs. The Governor stating that ill effects from the jabs are misinformation, and reassuring constituents that the jabs are still the best way to prevent Covid-19 Infection! Both reassurances demonstrably false! Coercive funds are provided by DSWD (Dept Social Welfare and Development).
Some creativity and a little cash still work wonders in Davao del Norte.
How is that not government endorsed and funded coercion and bribery? The cruelty of forcing people to do something they didn’t want to do just so they can eat or pay their bills for a short time! Never mind the health consequences!
There surely is a “State of Calamity” in this beautiful country. However, this has little to do with Covid-19 infection, and everything to do with the aftermath of the misplaced pandemic measures shortsightedly imposed: poverty, destroyed small businesses, local and national economy, lost opportunities, soaring costs, plummeting Peso value affecting buying power and debt servicing, soaring debt, lost education and damaged futures, vaccine injury and deaths!
