New Philippines Pharmacovigilance Report Released Up to 30 September 2022; 166,492,256 Doses of 7 Products, 108,971 Suspected AEFI of which 10,012 Were Serious, Including 2,704 Deaths.
"Summary: Based on the current available data, the benefits of the vaccines in the prevention of Covid-19 ... outweighs any current known adverse reactions in the majority of vaccinated individuals".
Pharmacovigilance reporting in the Philippines has now moved to monthly reporting. The next report should be due early November 2022, to cover the period up to 31st October 2022.
A new report as of 30 September 2022, is now released. Dosing of vaccines and overall AEFI reports are shown in Tables 1 and 2, extracted from the report.
Since 21st August 2022, an additional 4,782,861 additional doses of various C-19 vaccines were given (average of 122,637 doses/day). These comprised 4,493,200 doses of Comirnaty (which is the main product pushed for booster dosing), 172,745 doses of Coronavac, 95,788 doses of Astrazeneca, 25,571 doses of Moderna, and 4,128 doses of Sputnik and Sinopharm combined. The number of doses of Jansen delivered was revised downwards by 8,571 doses.
Since the last report on 21st August 2022, suspected adverse reactions are updated to 108,971 (an increase of 2,290 since August 21, 2022), suspected serious reactions are updated to 10,012 (increase of 413), and suspected related to vaccination deaths are recorded as 2,704 (increase of 53.)
Among the priority adverse reactions that are being tracked, with reference to the last report on 21st August 2022, results are almost unchanged in over a month for the monitored conditions, though with noted decrease in rates of anaphylaxis and increase in hospitalization rate:
Rates of anaphylaxis at 1.92 per million doses administered, down from 1.97 as of 21st August 2022.
No change in the number of cases of Thrombosis-thrombocytopenia syndrome; 13 cases: 1 having been dismissed as indeterminate (insufficient evidence that the vaccine caused the reaction) and 12 still under review.
67 additional Covid-19 infections including 3 deaths, bringing the total to 4,683 infections with 253 deaths “cases not related to the use of the vaccine, but were actual Covid-19 natural infections”.
Still showing 17 cased of myocarditis, 3 having been judged as product-related and the rest are under review.
Still at 1 indeterminate case of Capillary Leak Syndrome.
1 additional case of GBS to bring the total to 27; still at 7 product-related, 5 indeterminate, and the rest under review.
Removed 1 case of Bell’s palsy, to drop cases back down to 30; 8 product-related, 2 indeterminate, 2 coincidental, and the rest under review.
Still 6 cases of Immune thrombocytopenia. 1 product-related, 2 coincidental, and 3 under review.
Hospitalization rates have increased to 4.23 per 100,000 doses from the 4.15 per 100,000 doses in the 6 August report. The same wording as previously, but now bolded and underlined to be sure we don’t misinterpret that these hospitalizations were not necessarily caused by the recently received vaccines.
Average age of reported deaths has dropped from 59.42 to 59.32 years of age.
We are reminded that the reported deaths may be coincidental and most of the causes of deaths are those that people in the Philippines typically die from.
In my network, I have heard of many cases of adverse reactions, new health conditions, new cancers, and sudden deaths, including in very young people. Almost none of these cases I directly know of have made reports. Somehow it seems the victims do not want attention drawn to themselves, despite their tragic outcomes, even when assured that the reporting system is confidential and that there are no “consequences for reporting”.
To my Filipino friends: please encourage and assist reporting if you hear of any cases. How can the Government know what is happening if no one will report outcomes? In a mass population experiment, every outcome is relevant. Documentation is critical. That is how the science should be done.
Reports for adverse reactions require 1) Vaccination card, 2) Sequence of Events and description of outcomes, 3) Death certificate or medical certificate describing health outcomes, 4) Hospital Summary, if relevant.
Reports may be made directly to FDA, here. They may be made by a victim, by their family members / friends, or by a health professional!

Those are greatly unreported injuries - or greatly under recorded injuries.. Otherwise, the Philippines received the cleanest batches of injections of any country.
There is a saying, Dead men tell no tales. To add, the seriously injured tell few tales as well. It is criminal they get to come to the conclusion of the headline. They are relying on sick and dead folks to report.
