Patterns in the 2019 to 2022 Philippines Top Ten Leading Causes of Death (COD). Ischemic Heart Disease, Hypertensive Diseases, Diabetes are Increasing. Respiratory Illnesses are Way Down!
Covid-19 have contributed only 107 deaths in 2023 up to 13 May 2023, yet concerns with Covid-19 cases continue. Focus on Covid-19 and Vaccination continue in Philippines by Health Officials.
In response to a reader request I am providing a table breaking down leading causes of death from 2019 to 2022.
The mass reclassification of deaths as due to Covid-19 in 2021 and to some small degree in 2022, has skewed normal COD data. All data should be viewed with this in mind.
2019 was the last normal year! In 2020 there were no excess deaths and no excess respiratory deaths.
In 2021 there were mass excess deaths, 43.2% and there were also mass respiratory attributed deaths.
The 2022 data is still preliminary and total deaths will like rise by at least another 40 - 50,000 when final registration data is compiled. In 2022 data, to date, respiratory deaths are well below normal levels.
In 2019, the reference year, combined Pneumonia and chronic lower respiratory infection contributed 89,295 deaths.
In 2020 these categories, with Covid-19 assumed added totaled 75,776. LOW!
In 2021 these categories pneumonia and chronic lower respiratory infection were listed as COD for 63,128 deaths. Covid-19 assumed and confirmed totaled 112,772 deaths, giving total respiratory deaths of 175,900 among the top 10 COD. HIGH!
In 2022 Covid-19 is not among the top ten causes of death. Even when combined with other respiratory illnesses the total respiratory COD contribute only 51,179 deaths. LOW!
The changes over the past 4 years are easier to look at in a bar graph. This bar graph shows total numbers of deaths in each of the 10 leading categories, plus Covid-19. Covid-19 is present in the top 10 categories in 2020 and 2021.
2021 had greatly increased deaths across all categories, but interestingly, not from neoplasms (cancer), which remained very similar across all years 2019 to 2022.
Ignoring the catastrophic year 2021, ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, hypertensive disease, and diabetes are all increasing!
COVID-19 Deaths Plummeted in 2023 in the Philippines
The latest Covid-19 data from DOH, retrieved from downloading their 13 May 2023 data set shows 66,453 Covid-19 attributed deaths since early 2020. These include 667 cases where the person is reported to have died, but where no date of death has been provided.
While Covid-19 deaths were apparently high in 2021, they have since dropped to levels well below typical respiratory death levels. With only 107 reported deaths in 2023 up to 13 May 2023, Covid-19 seems set to become a very minor COD in the Philippines.
The last reported death in 2023 was of a lady of undisclosed age on 15 April 2023. The average age of persons reported to have died of C19 in 2023 was 61 (2 children were included in the tally). Ie. it still affects the elderly, and likely those with very severe and life-threatening comorbidities.
Over the entire pandemic children, aged 0 - to 19 have contributed only 2.3% of all deaths!
Why children aged 5 to 19 are still being targeted for injection, and even their schools being shut over Covid-19 cases is beyond my personal logical comprehension.
It is worth revising this DOH publication from 2021. They clearly stated that there is low benefit vs. risk in injecting healthy children!
DOH is pushing manufacturers to apply for certificates of product registration so they can sell their products on the open market. The Philippines is still under the state of health emergency that has not been lifted by the President. Once this is lifted then EUA products will not be permitted for use, even if donated.
DOH have announced that nearly 400K doses of bivalent products will be arriving in the Philippines in the next few days!

How convenient to hide the vaccine injuries under "Other causes" :P
And hiding vaccine injuries under heart disease and cancer.
