Philippines 2022 Vital Statistics Data as of 30 June 2023 Updated for Late Registrations Adds 4,013 deaths and 23,029 Births, Shows Increasing Cancer as COD! First data for Jan-April 2023 Dropped!
In 2022, 10.2% of COD were neoplasms. For the late registrations, 91% from Oct - Dec 2023 and consisting of 4,031 added late registered deaths, neoplasms disproportionally represented 19% of new COD.
Philippines PSA has updated the 2022 vital statistics on 23rd of October 2023,
provided the 2022 Causes of Death as of 30 June 2023, and
released the first set of data for 2023, covering the period Jan to April 2023, as of June 30, 2023. The 2023 data is still highly incomplete aside from January 2023, which is likely close to complete for deaths, though not yet for births. No 2023 Cause of Death data has been released.
2022 Progression of Data Release by Data Drop
This is the 14th release of data for 2022, 5 of these releases having been in 2023. The progression of compilation of birth and data is shown in the following tables. Typically, it takes at least 6 - 9 months for data to be substantially complete. The final reports for 2022 are due to be released early in 2024.
Registered Deaths - 2022 and 2023 Updates
Due to newly added late registrations, 2022 deaths increased by 4,013. 60% of these were from December, 20% from November, 11% from October, and the balance from earlier in the year. The first set of 2023 data is released, but is still too incomplete to be useful, other than to note that the January 2023 deaths are higher than those in December 2022, though still lower than those in 2021 and 2022.
2022 deaths are 23.2% lower than 2021 deaths, but still 10.1% higher than 2020. This shows an unprecedented increase in deaths (prior average y-o-y change was 2.6%, with S.D. of 1.9%) even following the massive deaths (still incompletely reported) in 2021. Death registrations will still increase in the final compilation.
Registered Births - 2022 and 2023 Updates
Due to late registrations, 2022 births increased by 23,029 in the new data drop. 70% of these late registrations were from the last quarter of 2022 (40% from December, 23% from November, 7% from October, and the balance 30% from earlier in the year). January 2023 births are higher than 2021, but still lower than all other years.
Births in 2022 are 13.9% lower than they were in 2019. Prior average y-o-y change was -0.3%, S.D. of 2.2%). Number of births will still increase slightly in final compilation.
Population Change Over Time
The overall population increase in 2022 is higher than observed in 2021 (may change if/when data is updated for both years) but is still lower than all other prior years.
Causes of Death
The top 10 Causes of Death in 2022 are updated relative to 2019, the last prior “normal” year. Hypertensive diseases, ischemic heart disease, and diabetes contributed far more deaths in 2022 than they have historically. This increase is disproportionate to the 9% increase in deaths between 2019 and 2022, in current data. Pneumonia, respiratory infection and tuberculosis have all decreased markedly.
Most 2022 COD maintain similar % contributions to the overall COD of prior 2022 data drops (other than a small increase in total cases). The notable exception is for neoplasms: prior data drops showed neoplasms to be lower in 2022 than 2019, but they are now higher by 0.6%. Note that of the 4,013 late registered deaths added to the tally, 19% were neoplasms. This is disproportionate to the overall proportion of 2022 deaths from neoplasms (10.2%), indicating that cancer was increasing as a cause of death in the last months of 2022. Given the international trending of increasing cancer cases, this trending is alarming!
Conclusions
Excess deaths continued in 2022 with no recovery / compensatory lowering of deaths compared to 2021. This indicates that whatever has caused the dramatically poorer health of the Philippines population is still in effect and causing excess deaths (deaths of people who would not have been expected to die)! These excess deaths must be underlaid by mass excess disability and poor health (people typically get sick before they die), an abysmal outcome of misery and suffering for Filipinos.
2023 January deaths are higher than January deaths in 2019 and 2020, but still lower than 2021 and 2022, for now. 2023 monthly deaths will increase as registrations continue.
February to April 2023 deaths are still too incomplete to be commented upon!
Reassuringly, 2022 births have shown considerable recovery due to substantial late registrations. However, are still lower than 2019 and 2020 births and prior year on year changes.
January 2023 birth are higher than 2021, but lower than 2022. They would still be expected to increase with late registrations. Births take considerably longer than deaths to be registered; birth certificates do not become essential until schooling starts, whereas death certificates are needed to claim benefits and settle estates.
2022 is the third year in which the overall population increase has been lower than 1 million persons. The Philippines annual population increase has been consistently dropping since 2012, and this drop appears to be accelerating.
COD category neoplasms is showing a concerning signal for increasing proportion of deaths in the last months of 2022. This will bear close watching as the 2023 data is released.
PSA is urged to continue timely release of vital statistics and COD data for 2022 and 2023. This data is critical for understanding population health outcomes, including the apparent continuing excess deaths and lower than historical births.
PSA is urged to update the 2021 vital statistics as a matter of urgency. This will assist government, public health officials and interested parties to assess the benefit/risks of the mass public health intervention applied to the population starting in March 2021. It will also be relevant for the consideration of any future public health interventions.
Benefits must outweigh risks.
The excess deaths in 2021 must be fully determined and explained!
PSA is urged, to raise the alarm on the abnormal patterns of deaths that started only in 2021! The accelerating loss of registered births also requires investigation.
Readers, please share this information. Population stability, and the health of the population may well be a matter of national security!
Covid Vax Kills, maims and causes impotency which are all deliberate reasons the POISONOUS injections (mistakenly referred to as VACCINE) were created! To reduce world Population (CYLL!) in order to stem Global Warming!
Health Canada have recently admitted that Pfizer Covid vaccine contains DNA sequence of SV-40. The Simian Virus, which was the fortieth monkey virus that had been identified in the 1960s.
The FDA and the CDC have not said whether or not it knew that SV-40 was in the Covid vaccines. This is important for a few reasons.
Some say that the Covid vaccine only has the SV-40 promoter and not the antigen so that’s OK. Why on earth would Pfizer require a carcinogenic material in their already dangerous (lethal( injections?
FDA was told this, whether or not Pfizer hid it? If they did in fact hide it, does it pierce the armor of the PREP Act, which has given them ZERO LIABILITY from the Covid injection related Injuries and DEATHS?

I know some people will be thrilled to hear that the rate of population growth is slowing fast here. As an example, a high school teacher with a degree in Social Science (not shocked!) told her class that there are too many humans on our Earth and asked her class for suggestions on the best ways to reduce this number. She rated bombing as her top solution followed by abortion at any time. I suggested to my child that they posit the notion that this teacher and her family should be first in the queue to be annihilated. Lead by example?
