The Philippines are proceeding with their planned week of vaccination targeting delivery of 5 million booster doses this week!

JoeyCon yesterday said that the Philippines are entering the Acceptance phase of living with covid-19. This is a big change from his previous stand of vax to the max. He has been curiously quiet about Covid-19 vaccination lately, despite his having previously been loudly lamenting the waste of expiring vaccines and the need to use them up before they expired (again).

Department of Health and it’s provincial accolades are not so reticent. Starting today until Friday is the Special Week of Vaccination: Bakunahang Bayan, where they are aiming to administer 5 million booster doses by bringing vaccines to the people.

Covid-19 Vaccine uptake has been slow in recent weeks, with an average of 78,758 doses/day being delivered over the past 2 weeks, trending downwards from previous weeks. From the DOH Covid-19 Vaccine Dashboard, as of 24th September 2022, 71,112,412 people have received a first dose of covid-19 vaccine (average of 14,379 new doses/day over the past 2 weeks), 73,882,551 million have received 2 doses (average of 17,695 new doses/day over the past 2 weeks), and 40,460,578 have received boosters (average of 46,684 new doses/day over the past 2 weeks). [For reference: Philippines population is about 110 million.]

That gap of 2.7 million people who got a first dose and apparently never went back for a second, needs explaining! What happened to those people? Are they ok?

It would appear that most of those people who have not yet received any covid-19 vaccines still don’t want any! Even the boosters seem to be a hard sell!

Some of the reported number of persons vaccinated may be double counted for the same individuals, as many people received an initial full series of the Chinese-made Sinovax which was the first locally available vaccine, but then went on to receive complete series and booster(s) of either Pfizer or Moderna, which were the “high value” preferred vaccines. I have heard of many people who have already received 5 or more doses of vaccines.

Regardless of hesitancy, the Government is doing what they can to encourage uptake. one of these is offering senior citizens rice in exchange for being jabbed.

5 kilos of rice in exchange for a possible ill health, injury, or death of our senior citizens? That may not be a very good deal!

The government officially offers assistance to vaccine death and injury claims via Philhealth. The maximum payout is PHP200,000 (USD3,400 at the current exchange rate). However, only a few dozen claims of undisclosed amounts have been paid to date, and our CDCPH doctors say that getting any injury acknowledged, let along paid out is highly challenging. We have not heard of any payments made for deaths to date (none revealed from recent FOI request).

The Philippines FDA has also not updated their every other week reports on “Reports of Suspected Adverse Reaction to Covid-19 Vaccines” since 21st August 2022, now 2 reports outstanding. Prior to August the reports were issued within a few days of the end of each reporting period! What is up with that FDA?

International data continues to mount for high rates of severe injuries and deaths, for long term health and reproductive consequences. Continues to support that the risks for these obsolete products far outweigh the risks of covid-19. That these excess deaths are absolutely linked with the pandemic measures and the jabs.

Isn’t it time that the international experience be taken into account, instead of pushing with the insane drive to jab everyone no matter their actual level of risk from covid-19 which has now mostly devolved to a flu-like illness, no matter the consequences, no matter the costs?

Isn’t it time the censorship and withholding of real data is stopped?

That the consequences which are happening be acknowledged and start to be dealt with. Pretending they are not happening will not stop the deaths, the disability, the injury and despair! We are fast approaching the stage when no matter how deep the official heads are apparently buried in the sand, these consequences are so large they can no longer be hidden!
