Philippines Covid-19 News for 14 June 2021

Front page of the Manila Time has both Joey Con (entrepreneurial advisor) finally stepping away from pushing covid-19 vaccines and boosters at all costs “mandatory additional jabs might be impractical at this point” to instead calling for focus on economic recovery and getting rid of the pandemic mindset, and the DOH (department of harm health) calling for possible new lockdowns in response to national cases reacting an average of 240 a day in the past week (from less than 200 a day) in a population of 112 Million!

Meanwhile the court case against vaccination of children is ongoing, as reported on the front page of Manila Times with Dr. Agbayani explaining that these inoculations are not vaccinations!

"It could only be classified as vaccination if a vaccine has been issued a certificate of product registration by the Food and Drug Administration.

"Only EUAs were granted to existing Covid-19 vaccines. Therefore, there must be a surveillance on the safety and efficacy of the same and the persons in charge of public health should be aware of the red flags of an experimental vaccine, such as deaths and injuries following Covid shots," Agbayani said

"Therefore, considering that there are adverse events that may occur following the inoculation of an experimental drug, there should be no coerced mass vaccination, especially to our children who are more vulnerable members of the society," he said.

Governor Gwen in Cebu continues to make headlines following her issuance against outdoor masking. She recently met with unvaccinated teachers protesting discrimination and responded with this memorandum forbidding discrimination based on vaccination status!

The discussion she triggered about masking in outdoor settings is now in full swing, with many both pro and anti parties joining the fray; a loud public discussion is to be celebrated with the League of Provinces now discussing outdoor mask wearing

After Cebu province issued an executive order making it optional to wear a face mask in well-ventilated and open spaces, the League of Provinces of the Philippines said they would discuss whether to make it optional to wear a face mask against COVID-19 when outdoors.

Meanwhile Pierre Kory has shared a devastating discussion of outcomes observed in clinical settings on the front lines; highly disturbing, but necessary reading. I discussed side effects of the covid-19 vaccines with my children’s pediatrician yesterday; she has 2 young male patients 14 and 17, who now have myocarditis. She is under no disillusion as to the cause. She and I discussed that the presentation and numbers of cases may get dramatically worse, particularly once children return to face to face school and regular sporting activities. Rollout to babies, has no place, no sound evidence of anything but harm, and we pray rational minds will prevail.

Another local doctor friend said "that issue" is now wrecking havoc in my clinic. Its overwhelming!

It is going to get far more overwhelming! So let us be prepared!
