TD DANNY HEALY-RAE:** [inaudible] And yes of course we have had a massive and still have a massive amount of people dying in the county of Kerry. And [inaudible] first of all I want to say the worst thing that ever happened in our country was the amount of elderly people and people who died alone inside the hospitals and nursing homes without family members, despite all what they did in their lives for community and for family, they died on their own. And that can never again be allowed to happen, Minister.
There's a lot of conversation and, and the word vaccination, the minute I'll, I'll, I'll mention that, I'm accused of being anti-vaxx. But the conversation is out there, Minister, and people are asking, why are all these deaths happening? They're saying, tis it the result of covid? They're asking, is it as a result of the vaccinations? And there, they need answers and, and we need to have an independent investigation into what's happening at the present time because life is precious.

TD MICHAEL COLLINS:* Furthermore the data collection methods used in Ireland raise concerns with excess deaths consistently surpassing historical averages. Given this alarming situation we firmly believe that an independent inquiry into these excess deaths is imperative.
It's shocking and it merits an investigation [inaudible] to a pandemic inquiry. The lack of specific government measures to address these excess deaths is deeply concerning. We need answers about the causes and implications of these fatalities, as well as a plan to prevent them.
And I also want to mention about the serious amount and rise of, of strokes, hemorrhages in, in, in my own constituency, West Cork, it's astonishing the amount of young people, thanks be to God some people are recovering from that situation, [inaudible] a fraction of young people lost their lives. There's no answer to this, it's a mystery to some people. Not to everybody.
