Philippines Pharmacovigilance: Discussion on FDA and VAERS Reports on Reported Pediatric Adverse Deaths, Serious Adverse Events, and Deaths.

Filipino Children aged 5-17 were authorized to receive Covid-19 Vaccines. The Philippines FDA Pharmacovigilance System Contains Reports of 72 Deaths. VAERS details 64 of these Filipino Child Deaths.

Philippines FDA Pharmacovigilance Findings

Children aged 12 - 17 started to receive Covid-19 injectables on 15 October 2021, for children with comorbidities and on 2nd November for all children in this age-group. The younger cohort of children aged 5 to 11 started on 7th February 2022.

These are the reported suspected SAE deaths broken down by age from the 31 December 2023 Philippines FDA Pharmacovigilance report. It shows 72 pediatric deaths: 17 aged 5 - 11 years, and 55 aged 12 - 17 years.

FDA VAERS System Findings

The Philippines FDA reported severe suspected adverse reactions to manufacturers. The US Manufacturers are mandated to file such reports in the US VAERS system. These are public domain and can be searched. I searched using the VAERSAWARE data base set up by Alberto Benavidas, selecting for Philippines, and age (0-17). The VAERs system contains 1,204 Filipino Pediatric Reports (which the Philippines FDA provided to the manufacturers who then reported to VAERS). The breakdown for these comprises 64 deaths, 11 permanent disabilities, 33 life-threatening, 580 hospitalizations, 33 ER visits, 454 doctor office visits, and 29 None of the above!

There were 1,132 reports for Comirnaty, including 58 deaths. There were 72 reports for Moderna, including 6 deaths.

The lag time between injection received and onset of reaction, can be searched. Though there are some cases with dates missing (null), most cases with dates occurred on Day 0. I.e. the recipient started to have a reaction the same day they were injected.

For the deaths, it can be seen reactions are highest on Day 0 (day of injection) and Day 1. There is peak at 7 days. and smaller peaks thereafter. Could there have been a link between the just received injection and the subsequent death? Of a child that was screened and determined well enough to receive the products?

Date of death. The reported deaths start the week of November 14, 2021. Injections for children started on 2nd November 2021.

Within the data base, it is possible to click on the VAERs ID numbers to see the summary and narrative of what happened to each particular case.

Following is the narrative of a 13-yo boy who received a dose of Moderna on 15 November 2021. He developed a fever on 22 November 2021, suffered headache and seizure on 23 November 2021, and died on 24 November 2021.

Following is a 13-year-old boy who developed severe swelling in his arm following injection of Comirnaty and subsequently died (no date of death provided).

Following is a 6-year-old girl who developed severe abdominal pain and died the same day that she was injected with Comirnaty.

Every single death, every single report of illness has a story. Following is an 8-yo girl who suffered a permanent disability, paralyzed with onset within 1 day of injection.

These are the accounts of pediatric adverse outcomes. These are the accounts that Philippines FDA brushed off as unrelated and coincidental. These accounts started immediately concurrent with the mRNA products rollout to children. These accounts seem to have clear cause (injection) and effect (illness / death).

These are the details that the Philippines FDA has not revealed to the public. But these are all public domain via VAERS and on VAERSAWARE. Explore the data, read these cases and weep for our children and their families as I have been doing as I read these accounts!

Make up your own mind. Do you agree that these seem coincidental and unrelated? All of these cases were reviewed by FDA who did nothing. Who maintain that benefit outweighs risk narrative even until now!

Do not forget that there is gross under-reporting of adverse events in the Philippines (certainly more than 40x, possibly well greater than 100x). The reports seen represent only the tip of the iceberg of suffering and death imposed on the children.

Should there be a thorough investigation? Should health agencies be required to provide explanation? Should they be held accountable for continuing rollouts, despite their having recieved (and passed on) details of these pediatric (and 1000s of adult cases) severe adverse events and deaths following immunization?
