To ‘Safeguard Integrity of Elections,’ Philippines has banned Smartmatic voting machines. This comes after Smartmatic Philippines had been the primary supplier of election technology for the past 13 years. There have been accusations of corruption and bribery related to Smartmatic's contract for the 2016 elections.

Many questions are being raised against Smartmatic including:-

Earthquake!

Philippines has many active volcanoes. Many fault lines. Earthquakes and volcanic activity are frequent. A big shake last Saturday 2nd of December in Carraga Region (north eastern Mindanao) left grieving families and plenty of damage in its wake. There are many aftershocks since Saturday, keeping people in the region on edge and hoping that there won’t be another big quake! I have colleagues working in Davao who have returned to Manila earlier than planned, spooked by the ongoing aftershock affecting that city as well.

Bombing in Marawi

Marawi is a city of just over 200,000 residents in Lanao Del Sur, in northwest central Mindanao. The city was rocked by a bombing at the state university in the catholic church just before mass began on Saturday morning. 3 people died on the spot and 1 person in hospital, and 54 people were injured.

Don’t Overuse Antibiotics, but DO get vaccinated

Filipinos are reminded not to overuse antibiotics to avoid development of antibiotic resistance.

Which is good advice! DOH also say that a rise in flu cases is expected at the moment. They still push masking, handwashing, and vaccines (though they didn’t say which… flu? Covid-19?).

But then a few lines further down they push measles vaccines! There we go! The same old pharmaceutical narrative. People should never get vaccinated for anything when they are sick!

DOH are concerned with overuse of antibiotics, but not overuse of vaccination? It would seem that vaccination is the holy grail of medicine. The cure for all ills. The elixir of life and no other health measures or lifestyle measures can compare (or even deserve mention)!

Are they as safe as they are touted to be, efficacy aside? Perhaps not, based on broad population data.

Rising Pediatric Deaths following Catchup Vaccination (Short Version - the longer discussion was published separately on my substack earlier today as a stand-alone article)?

As I have been analyzing population data, I have noted a particular and unexpected rise in pediatric deaths right around when the Chikiting Bakuna campaign, a mass pediatric catchup vaccination, was being pushed from April to June 2022 (last week of each month) to try to get all the children who had missed well child visits due to Covid-19 lockdowns over 2020 and 2021 vaccinated against polio, measles, hepatitis B, pneumonia, and other vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs).

The figure below shows trending in pediatric mortality in the Philippines from 2015 to 2022. Just over 20,000 babies in the Philippines do not make their first birthday! Around 50,000 children die each year! Pediatric deaths in the Philippines are an incredible tragedy and reflect malnutrition, poverty and maybe access to medical care.

During the first year of the pandemic when most children didn’t have access to medical care there was a big drop in pediatric deaths. 10,579 fewer pediatric deaths, to be exact! Could health access be detrimental to children? Could more children be harmed by medical interventions than are helped?

Here are the deaths broken down by month over the pandemic years. Please note the 2023 data shown is still preliminary and should rise with late registrations.

Clearly something was going on with children’s health when the Covid-19 vaccine rollouts started to their parents, even when they were not being vaccinated. Covid-19 vaccination of 12-17 year old started in 4th quarter of 2021. Covid-19 vaccination of 5 to 11 year old started in February 2022. Children younger than 5 were not supposed to be given covid-19 vaccination. However, I have now heard of local accounts of younger children being injected anyway, in the context of very young children currently hospitalized with apparent rare and turbo cancers.

The children started dying in greater numbers when their parents were injected.

However, there is also a very big inflection in pediatric deaths which just happens to coincide with the rollout out of catch up routine vaccination! Is there a causal link? Well-child vaccination are the main medical intervention that most children receive.

These patterns of mortality raise a lot of questions that should be thoroughly investigated and addressed, but are very unlikely to be given the government’s and DOH’s very strong commitment to mass vaccination of all types and as their main form of preventative health care.

Health care is indeed prevented if one is dead!

President Marcos Has Covid-19 Again

The President has Covid-19 for the 3rd Time; recommends masking and vaccination to the population as preventatives.

Vaccination and voluntary mask wearing in crowded places are his recommendation to the public! I wonder which vaccination, considering that the DOH has already stated that all of the Covid-19 vaccines in the Philippines are already expired, haven’t been granted further extension of their expiration dates, and as such can not longer be used?
