Walgreens Tracker: More Doses More than 5 Months Ago = More Covid-19 Infections
They track data for 3 doses. 4th Dose now rolling out in the Philippines surely won't improve matters.
Walgreens is providing a tremendous public service with their Covid-19 Tracker, which shows % of covid-19 infections by vaccination status. In the past week, while unvaccinated people contributed just a slightly higher % of cases than those who had received 2 doses less than 5 months ago (22.5 vs 21.3%), the real shocker is that those who has a 3rd dose more than 5 months ago now make up 35.4% of cases.
There is no indication on whether a 4th dose is helping. However, with a worsening profile as doses received increase, it is likely to make the infection scenario worse not better. That is before AEFI are even considered!
Here is the latest Philippines DOH-FDA adverse reaction report summary on doses and AEFI. Reported deaths are 2,329 as of 22nd May 2022 (an increase of 38 since the 15th May report).
More than 1,038,997 doses of vaccine were reported given compared to the previous week. This included 240,592 new first booster doses and 53,109 new second booster doses.
AEFI are reported for the boosters. They may be considerably higher than shown due to underreporting.
It also reported 1 more vaccinated covid-19 death. Currently reported covid-19 cases are less than 200 a day, and have been since the resolution of the Jan/Feb Omicron spike.
As usual, the report still claims no signal or basis to change the current vaccination recommendations!
If the Walmart data holds (why wouldn’t it) with the building numbers of 3rd and 4th booster doses, we may well be building our susceptibility to another outbreak!
