Cancer Cases Soaring. The Philippines Has Few Facilities, Mostly in Large Centers, and Even Fewer Doctors. Are Covid-19 Vaccines Linked to Many New Cancers?
With limited resources and funds to treat cancer, approach needs to move to primary prevention as first line.
If the Philippines had a national sport, it would have to be basketball. The basketball world was rocked yesterday by the announcement of 38 yo PBA star Lewis Tenorio that he has just been treated for stage 3 Colon Cancer.
He received Jansen in the US on 4th of May 2021. The dose he received seems to be one a batch with a high incidence of adverse reaction reports. The vaccine card shown below can be found on his YouTube recording in May 2021 at 15:59.
LA Tenorio will receive treatment both in the Philippines and Singapore. All his fans and all of the Philippines wish him a smooth and speedy recovery.
Warrior Princess Ministries
I have a very good friend who works in the healing ministries. She, being a cancer survivor, particularly works with people with cancer. Her first book The Making of a Warrior Princess is with her publisher and will be out later this year (I will share details once it is out).
She is heartbroken, telling me she is being called to minister and pray for so many people recently. She has never seen so many cases of cancer before; both recurrent and new cancers which are often diagnosed at stage 3 or 4, in young people, and which progress very rapidly. Cancers which are hard to treat. She ministers with love and prayer.
Cancer is a Leading Cause of Death in Philippines
I am also hearing of new cancer cases among my network of contacts daily. There are possible concerns within my extended family. The reports seem to be accelerating.
Cancer is the 3rd leading cause of death in the Philippines.
In 2019 it claimed 68,657 persons (11.1% of deaths), in 2020 66,342 persons (10.8%), and in 2021 59,503 (7.8% share). Deaths from cancer were likely artificially lower in 2020 and 2021, as many persons with cancer who also tested positive for Covid-19 at the time of death were reported as dying from Covid-19 instead of cancer. Data for 2022 is only available with still very incomplete registered deaths up to September 2022 (released on 23 Jan 2023) and shows 42,497 (10.2% share of registered deaths). No 2023 data has been released yet.
The Philippines has very limited Oncology Services and Facilities. Philhealth, the Philippines Government Health Insurance Agency to which all employees and employers pay a monthly premium, does provide support for cancer treatments. However, reimbursable amounts are limited, and typically costs for treatment will be well beyond the capacity of most persons. I have known directly several persons who died from untreated cancer (prior to Covid-19) and they did not receive any treatment at all until their last few days when they had already collapsed. They had feared both the cancer and the costs involved and simply ignored their condition.
The Philippines Government recognizes the problem of cancer and has been setting up systems to help deal with it. However costs, lack of doctor and infrastructure resources, and inequal access to care are considerable challenges.
While large urban hospitals have oncology departments, the first specialty cancer hospital in the country is only under construction this year.
Another 300-Bed Hospital Specialty was approved in February 2023 under a public-private partnership arrangement.
Building more hospitals and treatment facilities is but part of the answer. The Philippines also has limited oncologists, with only 300 doctors available (about 1 doctor / 360,000 population) and with most working in large cities.
It takes many years to train medical specialists. It is unlikely that doctors can be trained quickly enough, and likely there will be far too few doctors to help with the growing demand for treatment of cancer.
Alternative Treatment and Prevention Resources
There are some alternative treatment approaches available. Philippines have a pharmacopeia of traditional medicines used in cancer care.
German New Medicine treat cancer. with local practitioner Eli Abela reachable here, video explaining approach here.
Then there is Orthomolecular Medicine, Holistic Care, and Wellness Retreat at The Farm, among others. However, these practitioners are also limited in number. Cost is challenging for many people in this country where a minimum daily NCR salary is PHP570 (USD10.50), and even a basic medical consult before medications will typically cost more than that.
Most people in the Philippines do not have medical insurance / very limited insurance (outside of Government provided), and medical treatments are mostly out of pocket. A critical illness can take a family from surviving comfortably with assets to abject poverty in short shrift.
Now the elephant in the room! Have the Covid-19 vaccines worsened the worldwide cancer situation?
Cancer Exploding Following Covid-19 Vaccination
Non-mainstream sources report that cancers are exploding following Covid-19 vaccination. These are also backed by grossly increased reports of cancers in worldwide pharmacovigilance systems.
The mechanisms of harm, attributed to the Covid-19 vaccines, have been described as due to immune system disarray, both related to interference with the body’s ability to repair DNA (mutagenesis) and the body’s ability to detect and destroy cancer before it can grow. Very detailed and technical descriptions are available from researchers such as Dr. Jessica Rose.
Mainstream media deny any link between cancer and Covid-19 vaccination.
Science-Based Medicine reports such claims are anecdotal and are simply heartless antivaxer lies!
Is Everything Still Normal?
Of course, it is far more comfortable to believe everything is still normal, that the vaccines saved us, that everyone is healthy, and that any new conditions are simply due to poor lifestyle choices. Time will tell.
Lifetime Cancer Risks
Various sources claim lifetime cancer risks vary from a few % points to 2 out of every 3 persons. Genetic predispositions cannot be changed, but just about everything else can be. HERE are some cancer risk calculation tools from NIH.
The vaccines may have grossly skewed possible outcomes. It may be better to go on the offensive with preventative approaches than to hope it won’t happen!
Primary Prevention for Cancer (and Many Other Conditions).
Early detection and early (wholistic) treatment is still optimal. However, while treatment has a place, it is like trying to catch the horse after it has already bolted! Prevention is even more important. Needs to be first-line! What can be done?
Do not take any (more) treatments or medical interventions that may adversely impact immune function. This includes all vaccines, all non-essential medications.
Cleaning up Lifestyle. This includes all the usual approaches, including but not limited to the following areas: -
Optimizing Vitamin D levels (ideally from careful sun exposure with supplementation if needed),
Adequate sleep,
Nutrition from a variety of whole unprocessed foods, with careful targeted supplementation to address any identified deficiencies
Avoiding all added sugars and seed oils,
Partaking of exercise intense enough to cause sweating on most days,
Spending time in nature,
Weight management,
Great oral health care, particularly address any infections
Management of medical conditions, particularly diabetes (I recommend low carb approach with strict normalization of blood sugar levels).
Avoid smoking, limit drinking alcohol, and avoid household and environmental chemicals and pollutants as far as possible.
The link between mind and body cannot be separated. Therefore, take all measures to resolve stresses and conflicts.
Develop spirituality. Make peace with your God and learn to listen and be guided when you are spoken to!
Build community and nurture friendships!
Find and pursue your life purpose.
Forgive! This doesn’t mean forgetting at all, it does mean taking actions as appropriate.
Onward Warriors!
They'll just farm medical marijuana and open up dispensaries, I reckon. At least folks who can't afford oncology or expensive retreats/treatment can die stoned :P
Big Pharma hates weed; tried to make a synthetic version but it didn’t work so I doubt they are going to be masking pain other than “mercy” killings. Perhaps they’ll still call it dying with dignity. I would expect pain and suffering will be manipulated to scape goat whom ever is targeted.
