Mga Bata (The Children): Where Is The Greater Risk: Covid-19 Or Vaccine? I Present That The Balance Is Entirely On The Risk Side! Many Are Calling For A Halt! Will They Be Heard? Will Parents Pause?

Watching the rollout of boosters to children with no risk from covid-19 is heartbreaking. Where is the Risk-Benefit study? The survivors will be living with the consequences for generations!

Booster doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines were approved for Filipino children aged 12 - 17 on 6th July 2022, article. The rollout is happening and my FB feed is full of parent friends lining their children up for boosters in preparation for the 2022-23 school year which starts in August. The schools I have contacted say the vaccines are not compulsory, but they are very highly recommended! Many parents are complying.

Determining Risk from Covid-19 Infection

The following table from Ioannidis shows the updated risks of dying with covid-19 if one catches it (Source: Panda Report). The odds of doing great got even better between July and December 2021, that is even before Omicron which is milder! The under 19s have always had an effective 100% survival rate. Only the very old have a higher chance of dying if they catch covid-19, and that is only 4 in 100. We know that old age combined with multiple comorbidities predisposes for the worst outcome!

Children younger than 18 make up about 36% of the Philippines Population (estimated approximately 41 million out of 115 million) but only 2.14% of all Covid-19 attributed deaths. There were only 614 pediatric deaths attributed to covid-19 in the pediatric approved vaccination age group from 5 to 17, 1% of the total deaths over 49 months.

There have been NO deaths since April 2022. Further, local pediatrician contacts confirm that only children who are already very sick with something else die with covid-19.

Determining Risk from Covid-19 Vaccination

Could there be adverse outcomes from the covid-19 vaccines? The Philippines FDA Pharmacovigilance reports were being issued weekly; they have now moved to less frequent issue. The most recent report from 10th July 2022, showed 47 reports of deaths following covid-19 vaccination in children aged 5 to 17. This is surely grossly underreported; I have personally heard of pediatric deaths within days following vaccination, which were not reported. The DOH-FDA claim none of these deaths are linked to the previously received vaccines.

International Pharmacovigilance systems report injuries and deaths:

The WHO Vigiaccess shows overall reports of injuries and deaths far in excess of those seen historically from any other vaccines ever used (Source: Vigiaccess, compiled by Barry Murrel).

We can look specifically at pediatric outcomes in the US VAERS system, via Openvaers which at 15 July 2022 reports 52,166 adverse pediatric reactions including 127 deaths, 481 permanently disabled, and 1,859 cases of myocarditis; 9,316 not recovered. The VAERS system is also known to be grossly underreporting adverse events. The US has a population about 3x that of the Philippines, but with a much lower pediatric population. Do the Benefits Outweigh the Risks for our Children?

The Philippines government is telling parents get vaccinated and boosted to protect their children, telling parents to vaccinate and boost their children to protect them from covid-19. Parents have been persuaded to give these vaccines (Pfizer mRNA product only) to their children to keep them safe! To allow them to participate in school and “normal” life.

Children don’t need protection from Covid-19 Infection. They do just fine!

Children stand at considerable risk from the vaccines given to protect them from an infection they were never at serious risk from!

Their risk is not just immediate side effects. It is also their future development, their health, and their fertility! The epigenetic impacts (gene changing, passed to offspring) are also unknown!

Many say “I took the vaccine and I am just fine”. “My child is vaccinated, he/she is just fine”! That is awesome! That may be true for now, and hopefully through to the end of a long, productive healthy life surrounded by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

However, we are only 16 to 20 months into worldwide delivery of these products, we still don’t know medium to long term consequences. We have plausible mechanisms for harm! Some people are “fine”, some people are not. But you can be sure that there is a whole spectrum, of pain, cost and suffering between those two outcomes! Roll your dice!!!

What if we have been misled? What if these vaccines, instead of keeping us safe, place us and our children in mortal danger? We and our children will have to live with the consequences our entire lives. Who will be held responsible?

I conclude that the risks of these vaccines do not outweigh their benefits for children! Take no more than you have already taken!

Children need protection from Covid-19 Vaccinations. Current data is troubling. The outcomes are unknown!
