More than 22 Million Filipino Students Headed back to Public Schools Today to Start the 2023-2024 School Year. The Education System Faces Many Challenges, Particularly Following Mass Education Loss
during the pandemic years. The future of the students of the nation will determine the future of the nation. Innovative solutions and catchup will be required for full potential to be reclaimed.
My child attends a Regional Science High School and, thankfully, already had a full year of face-to-face classes, learning far more than her privately educated peers who were still using a part-time blended solution. Almost everybody I speak to agrees that online classes were almost a complete waste of time. Long may the normality continue.
My kid's enrolled in public school for Kindergarten. I'm using it for the novelty and friendships he'll have. His real education is still here at home. I call it "Public Homeschooling". We may opt out after a few years....
