There are a team of awake lawyers. It is just that they are not government lawyers (they are private practice, law professors, constitutional lawyers), and they are not being listened to. The case filed in the Philippines Supreme Court asking for a TRO on the Covid-19 vaccine roll out has languished for more than a year without ever being heard. The TRO request against pediatric vaccines has similarly languished. There is a systemic refusal to consider any possibility of harm and refusal to listen to anyone who is not mainstream government employed. Even the Philippines Attorney's Office, which exists to give voice to indigents and others who need legal help, is not being paid attention. The lawyers, doctors, concerned citizens are not giving up!
They are effective. But their process is grindingly slow. Despite this being 2023. They insist all copies of every document have to be submitted by registered post. I think it's still 4 complete copies, as in 4 complete evidence document's bundles/file sets.
In my mind the Phil Government esp the DOH have captured, oh yes include also the Congressmen and Senators!
