You talk about the final quarter of 2021 ("The death data for the last quarter of 2021 will surely be even worse than presented here..") yet PSA have not updated the final quarter for a number of months (releases) now, so I cannot believe they will change from what they show today, which is shameful as I think we all believe the current data has not been finalised. They are also running late on releasing and updating 2022 data. Pressure needs to be brought on them to focus they efforts and the LGU reporting process.

Last year I followed the PSA data. I was able to observe that it typically took about 4 months from the end of any month for the reported data to be pretty stable (only a handful of additional cases). They haven't updated 2021 data since February 28, 2022. As of February 2022 the October data should have been substantially complete, but the November and December data would not have been. I suspect they are sitting on the data because it shows evidence that they do not want shown! Last year (2021), the 2020 data was updated with every release. They have said that the complete 2021 data will be released by January 2023! That is a long time to wait! Will they release then? We shall see!
